All dance families should have received a packet at parent’s week (February 20-23rd) It has very important information, please make sure you read through it all and if you have any questions, please ask. If you did not receive a packet, please check at the front desk.
Picture Days March 3-4 (there will be no classes on these days)
If you do not have a picture schedule, please check your packet for your child’s day and time, we have some at the front desk, and it is also posted on the website.
In order for everything to run smoothly, please be in costume and ready 15 minutes before your scheduled time and wait in the lobby area of the studio for your group to be called in. PICTURES HAVE RUN AHEAD OF SCHEDULE IN THE PAST! You will receive a picture proof immediately after your class picture has been taken. You will be able to take this home to decide what you would like to purchase, then return it with the order form and payment by 2:00_March 11th. If orders are not turned in by this due date, you will have to mail your order with payment to the company at the address on the order form. The photography company does numerous other dance studio pictures and have their schedule set for printing. Please cooperate with them by turning in your order on time. The photography company will be MAILING your orders directly to you instead of having them come to the studio for you to pick up. Please make sure you have your mailing address on the form.
NO CLASSES March 26 – April 1 for Spring Break
Classes will resume on Sunday, April 2.
No Saturday Technique Classes
There will be no technique classes on the following days: April 22, May 6 and 13th due the dance
5 YEAR ATTENDANCE AWARD
If your dancer has been a student here for 5 years they will receive a special trophy this year. Please sign up at the front desk if this will be your dancer’s 5th recital. (First dance season would have been in 2011/2012). Dancers who have been here for more than 5 years do not have to sign this sheet.
FATHER/DAUGHTER/MOTHER DAUGHTER DANCE ROUTINE – RECITAL 2017
Our annual father/daughter/mother/daughter dance is kicking off once again! We are offering this to dancers who are 8 years old & up. All dancers and parents participating must attend four rehearsals (includes dress rehearsal), which will start in May to learn the routine. The theme this year is has yet to be determined, but the costume for this dance will be something you already own or can borrow. Each parent/daughter couple will have the choice to perform in one or all three recital performances. Anyone interested in participating must come to the first rehearsal to sign up. There will be a small fee of $10 per family to pay for choreography and assistant teacher expenses.

The date for the dress rehearsal at Eastview High School is Friday, June 9th 7:00 pm.
Grand Finale Dance
All dancers who are in the TapJazz 1 levels, Int Hip Hop levels and higher will be learning the finale dance in April and May. Dancers will wear the Black white and teal 2017 recital t-shirt or a plane black t-shirt, black shorts or leggings and any type of jazz or half/ballet shoes. Tan tights are also optional
Recital T-shirt order forms will e-mailed when the sample sizes have arrived!
*LAST DAY OF CLASSES: Tuesday, June 6 for all classes. (Just a reminder as stated in the studio policy form- June tuition will be half of your normal monthly tuition)
*DRESS REHEARSALS: June 8th and 9th (Most dancers will only be required to attend one of these days. (See schedule in your packet)
*RECITAL DATES: June 10 and 11th
Dress rehearsals and recital will all be at Eastview High School in Apple Valley
Recital Tickets: Back again this year! You will be able to purchase your recital tickets on line. More info to come. Just a reminder, May and June tuition and any outstanding balances must be paid by May 11th in order to purchase tickets.
