Jazz Classes in Rosemount, Minnesota

Jazz dance, originally referring to the accompanying music of tap dance, evolved into the form which we teach today in the 1950’s. It is the form most often used (in combination with other dance forms as needed) in Music theatre and is reliant on strong technique and control of the dancer’s center.

At the Dance Connection we work with the young dancer to ensure that proper technique is learned and mastered as the student moves from level to level.

Mondays:
4:30-5:30               Tap/Beginning Jazz (6 – 8 yrs.)
6:30-7:30               Tap/Jazz I (7 – 9 yrs.)
6:30-7:30               Tap/Jazz II (8 – 10 yrs.)
7:30-8:30               Tap/Jazz III (9 – 11 yrs.)
8:30-9:30               Tap/Jazz V (11 – 13 yrs.)

Tuesdays:
Noon-1:00             Tap/Jazz (6 – 9 yrs.)
1:00-2:00               Beginning/Intermediate Tap/Jazz (10 – 13 yrs.)
4:30-5:30               Tap/Jazz I (7 – 9 yrs.)
6:30-7:30               Tap/Beginning Jazz (6 – 8 yrs.)
7:30-8:30               Tap/Jazz IV (9 – 11 yrs.)

Wednesdays:
6:30-7:30               Tap/Jazz II (8 – 10 yrs.)

Thursdays:
