creative kids movement dance classes - a great place to start for the young dancer

Images from the 2010 Spring RecitalThe emphasis on expression in this dance form allows the young dancer to evolve their ability to express emotion and creating specific mood through the art of dance. Our goal is to nurture this expression to allow the dancer to effectively tell a story through dance.

Creative movement classes are often the first experience a young dancer will have and so we strive to use these introductory opportunities to teach the basics of dance but to also have lots of fun and to get the students’ bodies moving!
