The Dance Connection - About the Studio
At the Dance Connection, students are placed in each class according to age and ability. And students may begin in the creative movement classes beginning at age 3. Please note that Pre-school and primary age classes of more than 10 students will have a qualified instructor plus an instructor’s assistant.
Classes are generally structured by type and age to allow for the dancer to participate in classes with other students in their age range and while the education of solid technique is emphasized, the Dance Connection also strongly believes that dance should be fun!
The Dance Connection also stages an annual year-end recital at the end of the season to allow friends and family the opportunity to see their dancer’s progress within a performance setting
Dancers in beginning levels I through level V will only be required to purchase one costume, though they may perform additional routines in the year-end recital. Please note; this does not include dancers in the Teen Tap and Jazz classes and/or competition line groups.
