Images from the 2010 Spring Recital

what our students and families have to say about the dance connection:

"I researched many local studios for my daughter before I found The Dance Connection. As a former dance student myself, I was looking for a studio which emphasized technique, dancer safety, and discipline…but through all of this I wanted her to have fun! And the Dance Connection had all of those things and more! Thank you to Melissa and all of the staff for everything – we’re looking forward to the new season!” – WA

studio policies 2010-2011

ATTENDANCE:
Please let us know if you will not be in class. We really count on each student being there each week. ALL lessons must be paid for whether taken or not. There are makeup lessons for most levels.

COSTUMES:
(For those participating in the recital only. The recital is optional.)
Costumes cost from $75 -$85 per class depending on the number of dances performed. They include the costume, tights, hair pieces and shoe bows. Please see the tuition and fees page for a brake-down of costume fees according to class.

Dancers in beginning levels I through level V will only be required to purchase one costume, though they may perform additional routines in the year-end recital. Please note; this does not include dancers in the Teen Tap and Jazz classes and/or competition line groups.

Costume payments may be made in small parts, but must be paid in full by November 1.
Costumes are non-refundable and non-returnable, however, they may be exchanged for a different size.

DANCE ATTIRE:
All students must wear a leotard and tights, capri or jazz pants in order for the instructor to make necessary body alignment corrections. No baggie t -shirts, shorts or jeans allowed. Hair must be secured back.

STUDIO ETIQUETTE:
Please help keep our waiting room safe and clean: No running, throwing balls, playing catch, etc. in the waiting room.

If there is roughhousing and any damage to the studio or injury to other persons trying to watch class, they will be asked to leave immediately.

If a student is misbehaving in class and it is disruptive to the other dancers who are trying to learn, they will be given one warning. If they continue to disrupt the class, they will be asked to leave.

The Dance Connection is not responsible for personal injuries, property damage or loss of property by anyone.
